Can I Perm Color-Treated Hair?
Generally, it is best to avoid coloring your hair for 2 weeks before and after a perm appointment. This is because the chemicals used for perms and colors can damage your hair. When done separately, it is usually ok. But putting your hair through 2 different chemical treatments in short succession can lead to fragile hair that is very prone to breakage.
